Since the beginning of the 2020, 16 events took place in 14 schools in Romania. Within these events, 14 teachers promoted towards their colleagues the inclusive, continuous and non-discriminatory education for Roma pupils. The events were attended by 423 teachers, school inspectorate representatives and other local institutions and NGOS in 14 counties of Romania. The teachers presented the project MISTO AVILEAN and, also, methods for inclusive, continuous and non-discriminatory education for Roma pupils.
Thus, we successfully completed the training campaign started through a training (Bucharest, 9-11.01.2020), and continued through dissemination events in schools in 14 counties of Romania (17.01.-26.02.2020).
During this campaign, we all tried to answer to the question: “Why should we say MISTO AVILEAN! To Roma children in every school?” We advocated for inclusive, continuous and non-discriminatory education.
The events took place in 14 localities in 14 counties of Romania: Călinești (Argeș), Berzunți (Bacău), Oradea (Bihor), Maciova (Caraș-Severin), Constanța, Craiova (Dolj), Brăhășești (Galați), Bărcănești (Ilfov), Voinești (Iași), Șomcuta Mare (Maramureș), Daneș (Mureș), Napradea (Sălaj), Socond (Satu Mare), Homocea (Vrancea).
In Bihor, Galați and Satu Mare counties there were organised additional events attended by large number of participants: 238 persons, including school inspectorates and other local institutions and organisations.
